It doesn't happen very often, but every once in awhile there's that actor in a small part who you feel instantly drawn to the moment you see them. You spend the whole movie just waiting for them to appear again (think Joan Cusack in her earlier days as a character actor or Joie Lee in
She's Gotta Have It).
Gustine Fudickar (that's her on the left) plays bad girl Cat Pegrum in Katherine Brooks's new lesbian boarding school drama,
Loving Annabelle with such charisma and presence that she stands out as the most interesting character after the two leads, and she is sure to be new dyke-crush material for audiences everywhere (the film is coming to DVD in December 2006).
At the moment there are very few mentions of Gustine online but here are the few links I could find. I will update as I find more!
In his
Dallas Voice review of the film Steve Warren gives a nice colorful description of her: "The school’s resident hell-raiser, Cat (Gustine Fudickar), is a bi-curious bitch whom Annabelle rejects.
Gustine's
IMDB listing is pretty minimal right now.
Best source for info is the
WeLoveAnnabelle page on My Space which has some good images and clips.
